Club Successes
at the British Champs
At
the recent British Championship event held at
Winterfold and Pitch Hill near Dorking in Surrey
a few hardy members of Devon made their way to
take part in the Classic or Long championships.
The
most notable result is that of Ann Hughes who is
the new British Champion in the W70L class.
She had an outstanding run to claim the crown by
nearly five minutes.
Tom
Lillicrap was third on the M65L class, a mere 35
seconds down on the winner.
In the Juniors Ellie Stone
managed an impressive 12th place on the W18 Elite
class.
