We hope you all enjoyed your run round Devonport Park. Fortunately the weather was rather better than forecast.

Congratulations to the course winners - there were some fast times. Congratulations too to everybody on your map reading accuracy. Only four pairs on the orange got penalty points for missing or incorrect controls – a big improvement on last year.

 Do read the control description for each control, eg path junction, fence, building etc. This tells you the feature that the marker will be hanging on. Obviously check the code number as well, when you get there.

 Next week at Marjons, it will be different, with buildings and fences – more than last year in fact. Do you recognise the symbol for an earthbank?
