| For each event, the winning
pair got 100 points. The score for other
competitors was obtained by comparing their time
with the winning time. For
each class, the final score was the sum of the
best two scores.
Some competitors
chose to move up a colour from one event to the
next, which is very sensible.
It was good to see
more competitors on the Light Green on the third
day. However, they lost the opportunity to
accumulate more overall points.
Some changed
partners, which made the addition of the three
scores a bit random. If you feel that you have
missed you out, please email me with the details.
There are small
prizes for the winners of each colour, which will
be coming your way.
Well done everybody,
and thank you for taking part. If you have
enjoyed the experience, I think you know where
the Devon Orienteering Club website is now. Check
out our fixture list of club events. We would be
very glad to see you at any of these. You dont
have to be a member to have a go.
When choosing a
course, remember that our Central Park event was
the best guide to the levels of distance and
technical difficulty for white, yellow, orange,
and light green courses. There are also senior
courses also to move up to.
On your behalf I
would like to thank:-
